JULY 2013 SAW VERY WET CONDITIONS ACROSS EASTERN KENTUCKY...THANKS
IN PART TO RAINY CONDITIONS AROUND THE 4TH OF JULY. THE JACKSON
WEATHER OFFICE FINISHED LAST MONTH NEARLY TWO INCHES ABOVE
NORMAL...WHILE LONDON WAS OVER THREE INCHES WETTER. IN FACT...BOTH
JACKSON AND LONDON HAD THEIR SIXTH WETTEST JULYS EVER. COOLER
CONDITIONS WERE NOTED ON THE TEMPERATURE SIDE OF THE FENCE. JACKSON
WAS AROUND TWO DEGREE BELOW NORMAL...WITH LONDON NEARLY THREE
DEGREES COOLER THAN NORMAL. ALSO OF NOTE...IT WAS THE 7TH COOLEST
JULY AT JACKSON...AND THE 11TH COOLEST JULY AT LONDON.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE NEAR JACKSON FINISHED JULY 2013
WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 73.6 DEGREES...WHICH IS 1.8 DEGREES
BELOW THE NORMAL OF 75.4 DEGREES. JULY 2013 WAS THE SEVENTH COOLEST
JULY ON RECORD. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH WAS 81.9 DEGREES...AND THE
AVERAGE DAILY LOW WAS 65.3 DEGREES. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE FOR JULY
2013 WAS 89 DEGREES...AND OCCURRED ON THE 16TH AND 18TH. NO HIGH
