Powerful Winds and Heavy Rain Sunday

...VERY STRONG WINDS AND MORE HEAVY RAIN ACROSS PORTIONS OF
WESTERN AND CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

THE SAME UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT SEVERE WEATHER
SATURDAY CONTINUED TO EFFECT THE REGION TODAY. AS THE COLD FRONT
PUSHED INTO EASTERN NEBRASKA...NORTHWEST WINDS BECAME VERY STRONG
WITH WIDESPREAD WINDS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH TODAY. THE STRONGEST
WINDS WERE ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING WITH SOME GUSTS EXCEEDING 60 MPH.

IN ADDITION TO THE WINDS...THE SYSTEM BROUGHT MODERATE TO HEAVY
RAIN TO PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND NORTHERN NEBRASKA. THREE
CLIMATOLOGICAL STATIONS BROKE THEIR DAILY RAINFALL RECORDS.

HERE IS A LISTING OF THE THREE CLIMATOLOGICAL DAILY RAINFALL
