A cold front brought strong northwest to north winds to western and north central Nebraska for Thanksgiving Day. These winds caused areas of blowing dust in parts of the state, which reduced visibilities down to a half mile at times, bringing about hazarous driving conditions. In addition, another cold front will pass southward across Nebraska tonight bringing much cooler temperatures to the region. Lows tonight will fall into the teens and low 20s, with highs on Friday only rising into the mid 30s to around 50.
