Windy Conditions Today, Colder on Friday

A cold front brought strong northwest to north winds to western and north central Nebraska for Thanksgiving Day.  These winds caused areas of blowing dust in parts of the state, which reduced visibilities down to a half mile at times, bringing about hazarous driving conditions.  A wind advisory is in effect for all of western and north central Nebraska through this evening.  Follow the links below to stay informed on travel conditions.
