Today, February 6, the new flood inundation maps for the city of Frankfort, KY were unveiled at a public ceremony. These maps indicate what areas near Frankfort will flood at various river stage heights. Multiple federal, state, and local agencies collaborated to create this library of maps, which is only the second in the state of Kentucky. These maps will help in flood response planning both for emergency responders and the public. The maps may be viewed here.
