24-Hour Rainfall Ending Friday Morning, February 21st

On Thursday evening, February 20th, two lines of thunderstorms rumbled through the region, bringing soaking rains to much of southern Indiana and central Kentucky, especially in southeastern sections of the Commonwealth. Rainfall amounts ranged from pockets of about a quarter of an inch to over 2 inches east-southeast of Somerset, KY. These storms were in thanks to a cold front that swept through the Ohio Valley, exiting off toward the east by Friday morning.
