Jeffersonville, IN Storm Ready Ceremony

The Jeffersonville, IN Storm Ready Ceremony was held Friday, Aug 20th at the Jeffersonville City Hall.  Although the state of Indiana has many Storm Ready counties, Jeffersonville, IN is the first certified Storm Ready Community in Indiana.  Mindi Christian, Jeffersonville Emergency Management Coordinator, and her colleagues worked very hard to meet national Storm Ready standards of mitigation, communication, and awareness.  As a result, the community of Jeffersonville is well prepared to handle any inclement weather that comes their way.
