Snow Showers, Blowing/Drifting Snow, and Near-Zero Wind Chills

The Winter Weather Advisory for southern Indiana and portions of central Kentucky is in effect through 9 am EST this morning.  Locations east of I-65 and north of I-64 could see up to another inch of snow by 9am EST, with lesser amounts elsewhere within the advisory area.  South central Kentucky will see little to no additional snow accumulations.

Winds gusting to 25 to 30 mph will cause blowing and drifting of snow which could impact visibilities at times.  Additionally, with temperatures in the teens and lower 20s early this morning, slushy roadways may refreeze, making roads slick.  In addition, these cold temperatures combined with gusty winds will cause wind chills in the single digits early this morning!
