A strong low pressure system will track across the Ohio Valley tonight. Winds will increase and become gusty out of the south this evening ahead of a cold front. As the cold front sweeps through overnight, wind speeds will remain elevated and shift out of the west. Sustained wind speeds of 20 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Winds of this magnitude may also knock down some trees and power lines.
