Light snow will continue along and north of the Ohio River through mid afternoon. By mid afternoon, rain across the Bluegrass Region will change to snow. A band of moderate to occasionally heavy snow will continue through mid afternoon across west central Kentucky. Any snow that falls will occur with temperatures at or very near freezing. Some slushy accumulations may occur on roads and overpasses...but with this type of snow...the highest accumulations may be restricted to elevated and grassy surfaces. Light snow will slowly end from west to east by late Monday afternoon. In general, 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected to accumulate across the advisory area...although an area of 2 to locally 4 inches of snow is expected over west central Kentucky.
