AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN NORTH CENTRAL RUSSELL COUNTY. AROUND 413 PM
EDT...STRAIGHT LINE WINDS BLEW DOWN A SECTION OF AN OLD BUILDING IN
RUSSELL SPRINGS. A FEW MINUTES LATER JUST NORTHEAST OF FONTHILL...
A SECTION OF ROOF AT AN AUTO AUCTION STORE WAS BLOWN A DISTANCE OF
OVER 500 FEET. TOWARD THE END OF THE EVENT...AT AROUND 420 PM EDT...
A BARN WITH A CONCRETE BLOCK FOUNDATION COLLAPSED ABOUT 5 MILES
NORTHEAST OF ELI.

LOCATION: SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN NORTHERN HART COUNTY.

WIND SPEED: 50-60 MPH

NARRATIVE: AN NWS STORM SURVEY CONFIRMED THAT A SPORADIC PATH OF
STRAIGHT LINE WIND DAMAGE OCCURRED IN NORTHERN HART COUNTY. THE PATH
OF THE DAMAGE BEGAN ABOUT 5 MILES NORTHEAST OF MUNFORDVILLE ALONG
FRIENDSHIP CHURCH ROAD. IN THIS AREA...A BARN LOST ITS ROOF ALONG
WITH A COUPLE OF LARGE TREES DOWN. DAMAGE WAS CONSISTENT WITH WINDS
AROUND 60 MPH. AS THE STORM MOVED EAST TOWARD THE GREEN COUNTY
LINE...A WINDOW WAS BLOWN OUT AT A LOCAL HARDWARE STORE AND TREE
TOPS WERE SNAPPED. ALSO...SMALL TREES WERE UPROOTED. WINDS SUBSIDED
IN NORTHERN GREEN COUNTY AFTER DOWNING A LARGE TREE AND A COUPLE OF
SMALL TREES NEAR MAPLE ROAD.

LOCATION: NEAR WINSOR IN EXTREME SOUTHERN CASEY COUNTY.

WIND SPEED: AROUND 80 MPH

NARRATIVE: AN NWS STORM SURVEY FOUND STRAIGHT LINE WIND DAMAGE NEAR
WINSOR IN SOUTHERN CASEY COUNTY. ONE DISTINCT MICROBURST TRACK
STARTED IN A WOODED AREA...TRAVELED SOUTHEAST TOWARD TWO MOBILE
HOMES. ONE HAD SECTION OF ROOF REMOVED...WITH INSULATION SPREAD
DOWNWIND. THE OTHER MOBILE HOME LOST A ROOF OVER A PORCH. THE
MICROBURST CONTINUED ACROSS KY 80 WHERE IT DESTROYED A BARN AND HIT
A HOUSE EMBEDDING ROCK MULCH INTO VINYL SIDING. BEHIND THE HOUSE
ANOTHER BARN HAD A SECTION OF ROOF REMOVED. AT ANOTHER NEARBY SPOT
EAST ON KY 80 TREES WERE UPROOTED AND FELL ON A HOUSE AND ANOTHER
BARN WAS DESTROYED. SPORADIC DAMAGE TREE DAMAGE WAS SEEN THROUGHOUT
THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY.
