Southern Indiana and central Kentucky will be between two weather systems today...high pressure moving off the Carolina coast into the Atlantic and low pressure moving east across the central Plains states. The resulting difference in pressure across our region will mean strong southwesterly winds. Expect sustained winds of 20-25 mph today with frequent gusts into the 30-40 mph range. Those southwest winds will bring in much warmer air as well, with high temperatures today some 10 to 15 degrees warmer than Tuesday.
