A stalled frontal boundary near the Ohio River Valley combined with a very moist atmosphere and multiple upper level disturbances will continue to bring plenty of showers and storms to southern Indiana and north central Kentucky. Another one to two inches of rain will be possible anywhere along and surrounding the Ohio River today and tonight.
In addition to the rain that has already fallen, this much rainfall will continue to aggravate ongoing river flooding, including on the Ohio. With all of the thunderstorm chances, flash flooding will be possible where storms train over the same areas. Several roads have been closed due to flooding across south-central Indiana and north-central Kentucky; thus, a flood warning is in effect .
