Independence Day Forecast

Warm and somewhat humid conditions are set up for Independence Day across south-central Indiana and central Kentucky, with highs generally in the upper 80s.  Muggy conditions will mean heat indices in the lower 90s.  If you have outdoor plans, take the proper precautions in the heat and sun while enjoying any outdoor activities.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to form during the holiday, providing some relief for the heat.  However, if you have outdoor plans, keep an eye to the sky and prepare to move indoors as thunderstorms approach.
