Thunderstorms, some of which will become strong or severe, will continue off and on this afternoon and evening. The storms will provide some relief from the heat, but at the expense of possible damaging winds and flash flooding. Another chance for strong to severe storms will come overnight as storms over Missouri travel along a boundary towards the lower Ohio Valley. Any of these storms overnight could produce damaging winds and torrential rainfall, as well as isolated flash flooding.
