A cold front is forecast to approach the Ohio Valley and clear through the area Thursday. Ahead of this front, a line of storms has developed and could move through the region, mainly north of I 64 overnight. In southern Indiana, some of the storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds as the primary threat. Other threats are frequent to excessive cloud to ground lightning as well as brief heavy rain.
The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has placed parts of the area under a slight risk for severe weather.
