Rainfall amounts from hurricane "Irene" along the east coast....

The following image shows how much rain fell from former hurricane "Irene"...which...by 10 pm Sunday evening...was a weakening tropical storm moving across northern Maine. This graphic shows storm total rainfall only through 8 am Sunday, August 28th.  Additional rains have since fallen across Connecticut and the rest of New England.  Areas highlighted in white show locations where over 10 inches of rain had fallen.
