100 Degrees in Louisville, Hottest September Temperature in 57 years

The mercury soared to 100 degrees today in Louisville.  This is Louisville's first 100 degree day since August 13, 2010 when the mercury topped out at 100 degrees even.

The record high for September 1 is 103 degrees set in 1953.  The all-time high for September at Louisville is 104 degrees set September 5, 1954 and September 6, 1954, which is also the most recent time Louisville hit the century mark in September.
