Flood Watch Through Tuesday Morning

A slow-moving upper level low pressure system will bring ample rainfall to the Lower Ohio Valley region through Tuesday.  These steady rains combined with the decent amount of rain we've received over the past couple of weeks likely will push some area rivers into minor flood stages, therefore, a Flood Watch is in effect.  From the graphic below, the Hydrometeorological Prediction Center has predicted an additional 1 to 1.5 inches of rain to fall across southern Indiana and central Kentucky.  To stay abreast of how the area rivers will react to potentially this much rainfall, visit our Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service page.
