Record Rainfall at Lexington, 36+ Hours of Rain at SDF

Lexington broke their daily rainfall record for November 28. The total rainfall on Monday was 1.94 inches, breaking the old record of 1.12 inches, which was set in 1949.

As of 1:22 AM on Tuesday, it was still raining at Louisville International Airport.  It has been raining non-stop since 1:22 PM on Sunday, or 36 straight hours. However, a break in the rain is near and will provide a respite in the Louisville Metro for at least a few hours overnight into Tuesday morning.
