A couple of systems will cross the region today. The first likely will bring a mix of rain and snow for most of the region this afternoon, with all snow east of I-65 and north of the Bluegrass Parkway. The second will be a cold front expected to move through the region tonight. This second system likely will bring moderate to briefly heavy snowfall to the region this evening. By Saturday morning, snowfall accumulations of around an inch are forecast across most of the region, with totals between 1 and 2 inches in the Bluegrass region.  Thus a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for this afternoon through Saturday morning.
