A low pressure system traversing the upper Midwest today will drag a surface front through our region this morning.  Expect a line of showers along and just ahead of the front this morning dropping up to a 0.10" of rain over most locations.  Along the back side of this precipitation shield, expect wind gusts between 35 to 45 mph.  Furthermore, sustained southwest winds of 15-20 mph with gusts between 35-45 mph will continue through mid afternoon behind the front.
