Strong low pressure will move from Missouri to Indiana this evening along a warm front, and then on to Lake Erie late tonight. As it passes by, it will swing a cold front through the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys. Scattered strong to severe storms are expected along the warm and cold fronts. Storms should initially erupt over southern Illinois and southwest Indiana early this evening, and progress to the east, exiting the eastern Kentucky Blue Grass by around 1am EST.
Isolated tornadoes, gusty winds, and large hail will all be possible. The best chance for severe weather, including tornadoes, will be along the Interstate 64 corridor across far southern Indiana and northern Kentucky this evening.
