Dubois County Spotter Talk Wednesday Evening


The Dubois County Emergency Management Agency, in conjunction with the National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, will host Severe Weather Spotter Training on:

The training is free of charge and is open to anyone across the region who has an interest in severe weather and/or public service. The primary objective is to provide the knowledge needed to identify and effectively report key severe weather features and to remain safe during severe weather events including tornados and floods. Also covered will be the key role played by the media in keeping the public informed during severe weather. Weather spotters, emergency responders, and the general public are encouraged to attend. Presenters include Joe Sullivan, Warning Coordinating Meteorologist with the National Weather Service Office in Louisville, KY and Wayne Hart, Chief Meteorologist with WEHT, Evansville, Indiana.
