Elevated Fire Danger Continues into Next Week

Continued hot temperatures and worsening drought conditions will promote an elevated fire danger for the rest of this week and into the Fourth of July holiday.

Several counties in Indiana and Kentucky have declared burn bans. Even in areas not covered by a burn ban, outdoor burning could be quite dangerous, especially Thursday, so use extreme caution if you do burn.
