A cold front will approach the area  this evening and move through the area late tonight. Some storms ahead of and along this front may be strong to severe especially over southern Indiana and west central Kentucky before Midnight EDT...11 PM CDT, thus, a Severe T-storm Watch is in effect.  The main threats with these storms will be damaging winds.   Also, storms will be capable of producing small hail, locally heavy rainfall, and cloud to ground lightning.  After Midnight, storms are expected to decrease in intensity due to the loss of instability from day time heating.  Stay abreast of your latest local forecast as well as severe outlooks from the Storm Prediction Center.
