Chilly Canadian Air Has Arrived!
Chilly Canadian high pressure has settled over the region bringing us unseasonably cool temperatures. Frost is expected to form this morning thanks to this clear, calm, cold air mass. Plants that are sensitive to cold temperatures will likely be affected. Please report frost or send frost photos via e-mail to w-lmk.webmaster@noaa.gov or through NWS Louisville Facebook or Twitter. Stay tuned for a low temperature map later this morning.
The cold will be short lived, with temperatures expected to rebound quickly into the 40s within an hour or two after sunrise. Temperatures will be much closer to seasonal norms for the rest of the week.
