Another Round of Wintry Weather to Ring in the New Year

An area of low pressure continues to organize to the southwest tonight.  Precipitation will remain mostly snow/sleet across southern Indiana, but a wintry mix is expected along and south of the Ohio River.  Snow/sleet accumulations could reach one inch across portions of southern Indiana, where a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued until 8 AM EST (7AM CST) Tuesday morning.  Only minor accumulations of snow/sleet are expected along and south of the Ohio River  (including the Lexington and Louisville metro areas).   Some wintry precipitation could linger through the day on Tuesday, but no additional accumulations are expected.
