A strong upper-level storm system will drift across the southeast U.S. over the course of the weekend. This system will spread copious moisture and rainfall into the Ohio Valley through early next week. While most of the showers will remain light to moderate in nature, the expected long duration of the precipitation will allow many locations to accumulate 1 to 3 inches of rain today through Sunday. With the expected clouds and rainfall, temperatures will be rather cool for this time of year. Highs on Sunday will only reach the upper 50s and lower 60s.
