How Cool Was It Sunday Morning?

An unusually cool air mass for late July settled over the Ohio Valley last night, and helped temperatures to dip very close to record lows for this date. Most of Kentucky saw lows in the 50s this morning, with a few places in central Kentucky dropping into the upper 40s. Check out the statewide map to see how cool it was in your area.

It's worth noting that during the entire month of July 2012, none of the five daily climate sites in central Kentucky got below 60 degrees!
