When significant precipitation falls in Kentucky or southern Indiana we post a 24-hour precipitation map the following morning by about 11am. We link the map through the Top News section at the top of our main web page.
The maps usually only stay in the Top News for one day, and then go to the Top News Archives. However, the list of articles in the Top News Archives has become extremely long, making it difficult to find a certain item amongst the hundreds of links listed there.
So, we have begun a new, separate page for archiving the morning 24-hour precipitation maps. Hopefully old precipitation maps, back to 2009, can now be located more easily.
It may take a few weeks for new precipitation maps to show up on the new page, so if you can't find a recent map there, check the Top News Archives to see if the map you're looking for hasn't been moved over to the new page yet.
