Rainfall Totals Ending Thursday Morning, 31 October 2013

As the Ohio Valley entered into an unsettled weather pattern this week, copious amounts of moisture being pulled into the region from the Gulf of Mexico has allowed for moderate to heavy rain showers to smatter the area. Louisville International Airport (SDF) had received 1.49 inches of rain on 30 October 2013, setting a new record in daily rainfall for that date. The old record was 1.32 inches, set back in 1880. Look for continued rain chances, with locally heavy rainfall possible, through Friday out ahead of an approaching cold front.
