AT CHICAGO...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 47 DEGREES WHICH WAS
0.1 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 31.7
DEGREES WHICH IS 0.1 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
FOR THE MONTH WAS 39.4 DEGREES WHICH IS 0.1 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.
FOR THE MONTH...1.26 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION WAS RECORDED WHICH IS
1.75 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. FOR THE MONTH...0.3 OF AN INCH OF SNOW WAS
RECORDED WHICH IS 1.75 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. NO RECORDS WERE BROKEN.

AT ROCKFORD...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 47.2 DEGREES WHICH
WAS 1.7 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 29.3
DEGREES WHICH IS 0.3 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
FOR THE MONTH WAS 38.3 DEGREES WHICH IS 1.1 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.
FOR THE MONTH...0.40 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION WAS RECORDED...WHICH IS
2.23 INCHES BELOW NORMAL FOR THE MONTH...1.0 INCH OF SNOW WAS
RECORDED WHICH IS 1.6 INCHES BELOW NORMAL.

ONE RECORD WAS SET FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER. THE RECORD WAS TIED ON
NOVEMBER 21ST WHEN 1.0 INCH OF SNOW FELL IN ROCKFORD. THIS TIED THE RECORD OF
1.0 INCH WHICH WAS SET IN 1989. IT ALSO WAS THE 3RD DRIEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD
AT ROCKFORD.

AT CHICAGO...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 64.8 DEGREES WHICH WAS
3.7 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 46.2
DEGREES WHICH IS 3.7 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
FOR THE SEASON WAS 55.5 DEGREES WHICH IS 3.8 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL
AND RANKS AS THE 18TH WARMEST FALL IN CHICAGOS HISTORY. 4.18 INCHES
OF PRECIPITATION FELL WHICH IS 4.81 INCHES BELOW NORMAL AND RANKS AS
THE 8TH DRIEST FALL.  0.3 INCHES OF SNOW FELL WHICH IS 2.2 INCHES
BELOW NORMAL.

THREE RECORDS WERE SET DURING THE FALL SEASON.  THE FIRST WAS ON
SEPTEMBER 15TH WHEN THE LOW TEMPERATURE HIT 39 DEGREES.  THE SECOND
AND THIRD RECORDS WERE SET ON OCTOBER 7TH WHEN THE HIGH TEMPERATURE
REACHED 87 DEGREES AND THE LOW TEMPERATURE ONLY DROPPED TO 67 WHICH
BROKE THE HIGHEST MINIMUM TEMPERATURE RECORD.

AT ROCKFORD...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 65.5 DEGREES WHICH
WAS 5.0 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 43.7
DEGREES WHICH IS 3.4 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
FOR THE SEASON WAS 54.6 DEGREES WHICH IS 4.3 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL
AND RANKS AS THE 9TH WARMEST FALL IN ROCKFORDS HISTORY. 3.88 INCHES
OF PRECIPITATION FELL WHICH IS 4.79 INCHES BELOW NORMAL AND RANKS AS
THE 7TH DRIEST FALL.  1.0 INCH OF SNOW FELL WHICH IS 2.2 INCHES
BELOW NORMAL.

THREE RECORDS WERE BROKEN OR TIED DURING THE FALL SEASON. THE FIRST
RECORD WAS ON OCTOBER 6TH WHEN A HIGHEST MINIMUM RECORD OF 67
DEGREES WAS SET. THE SECOND RECORD WAS SET THE NEXT DAY ON OCTOBER
07TH WHEN AGAIN A HIGHEST MINIMUM RECORD OF 67 DEGREES WAS SET. THE
THIRD RECORD CAME ON NOVEMBER 21ST WHEN THE HIGHEST SNOWFALL RECORD
OF 1.0 INCH WAS TIED FOR THAT DATE.
