Looking for Snowfall Totals?

snowflakes If you are looking for snowfall totals across Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana, here are some webpages where you should be able to find the data you are looking for.

If you are looking for the snowfall for O’Hare or Rockford, you can go to the following links.  Both of these links give the 24-hour snowfall for the calendar day.

For Rockford:      http://www.crh.noaa.gov/lot/f6ord.php

If you are looking for snowfall totals for elsewhere across Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana, you can check out the following webpages:

  1. For a text product of all snowfall reports received from our Cooperative Observers, for a 24-hour period ending around 7 am, go to the following link:  http://www.crh.noaa.gov/lot/rtp.php   (This page is updated daily around 9:30 AM)
  2. For the Graphical version of the Cooperative Observers snowfall reports, please click here.
  3. For a text product of the 12-hour snowfall reports received from the CAST (Chicago Area Snowfall Team), go to this link:  http://www.crh.noaa.gov/lot/castsnow.php  (This page is updated at 7 AM and 7PM).
