SO HOW HAS THIS WINTER STACKED UP SO FAR IN TERMS OF DAYS WITH SNOW
ON THE GROUND? THE FOLLOWING TABLES LIST THE NUMBER OF DAYS IN
WHICH THERE WAS AN INCH OR MORE OF SNOW ON THE GROUND BETWEEN
OCTOBER 1ST AND JANUARY 31ST IN CHICAGO AND ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS.

AS YOU CAN SEE, 2011-2012 IS RANKED IN THE TOP FIFTEEN FOR BOTH
LOCATIONS FOR FEWEST NUMBER OF DAYS WITH AN INCH OR MORE OF SNOW
