National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office

   The planned Open House today Saturday, October 13th at the NWS Weather Forecast Office in Romeoville has been postponed.  This is due to the threat of thunderstorms today during the Open House which included outdoor activities, as well as the threat of some of the storms possibly being severe into the nighttime hours. 

The NWS is dedicated to serving its partners and public, and with the thunderstorm and severe weather threat potential we feel the best route was to postpone the Open House.  We will reschedule for a later date.  We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank our partners for their flexibility.
