EXCEEDS TOTAL FOR ALL OF 2012...

CHICAGO WILL END JUNE 2013 WITH A YEAR TO DATE PRECIPITATION
AMOUNT OF 28.46 INCHES. THIS IS THE WETTEST FIRST 6 MONTHS OF THE
YEAR ON RECORD FOR THE CITY BY OVER 2 INCHES!

HERE ARE THE TOP 5 WETTEST JANUARY TO JUNE PERIODS IN CHICAGO:
1) 2013: 28.46"
2) 1975: 26.19"
3) 2009: 25.75"
4) 1993: 25.53"

THE 28.46 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION IS 11.93 INCHES ABOVE THE 16.53

THE WET WEATHER PATTERN OF 2013 CONTINUED INTO LATE SPRING AND THE
START OF THIS SUMMER WITH EVEN MORE REGULARITY IN PRECIPITATION.

- 26 OF 40 DAYS HAD MEASURABLE PRECIPITATION FROM MAY 20TH-JUN
28TH. THIS HAS ONLY HAPPENED FIVE OTHER TIMES ON RECORD IN CHICAGO
