Lake Michigan Beach Forecasts Have Ended for the Season

The seasonal beach forecast for the Illinois and Indiana shorelines will be suspended from October 1st until the 2014 Memorial Day Weekend. Thus today's (9/30) morning update of the beach forecast (Text/Graphical Beach Forecast and Swim Risk) is the last one of 2013.

With this swim season having been the the first for the new Beach Hazards Statement in the Great Lakes region, the National Weather Service would greatly appreciate continued feedback on this product.
