Unseasonably Cold and Record Wet October of 2009 (Corrected)

An unseasonably cold and wet weather pattern had led to one of the coldest and wettest Octobers on record.   Below are the top ten coldest average temperatures for the month of October, with the average monthly temperature for October 2009 in bold blue.

St. Louis recorded 12.38 inches of rainfall for the month of October, making this the wettest October on record by nearly 4 inches!  Columbia recorded 10.99 inches, making it the 2nd wettest on record.  Quincy has seen less rainfall, but  this October is still the 4th wettest in Quincy with 6.79 inches.  Below are the top ten lists for the wettest Octobers on record.
