Bitter Cold Wind Chills Early This Morning (Updated 500 AM 3/3)

North to northwest winds, ahead of approaching high pressure, has brought an arctic chill into south central and southeast Wisconsin this morning. The combination of the winds and frigid temperatures will result in bitter cold wind chills of -15 to -25 degrees Fahrenheit across the area.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until 9 AM this morning for south central Wisconsin, including Madison.
The Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until 9 AM Monday morning for southeast Wisconsin, including Milwaukee.

Wind chills of -20 to -25 degrees Fahrenheit can lead to frostbite in 30 minutes on exposed skin. If going outdoors tonight and Monday morning, make sure to dress warmly, and cover any exposed skin.
