Another Round of Severe Weather This Afternoon and Evening (updated 4 pm 5/12)

If you use Facebook or Twitter, we would really like to see pics of your hail or wind damage.  If sending pics of hail, make sure you include a ruler, or coins, etc to give perspective to the hail size. 


Warm and humid air has spread across southern Wisconsin.  An approaching cold front and low pressure northwest Wisconsin will continue to generate more strong to severe thunderstorms over southern Wisconsin through tonight.

The Storm Prediction Center has outlooked the area for a slight risk of severe thunderstorms.   The primary severe weather risks are large hail and damaging winds.  However a tornado is possible late this afternoon and this evening.
