Summary of October 2008 Weather in Milwaukee & Madison

Overall, the weather experienced in Milwaukee and Madison during October, 2008, was pretty much near-normal.  There have been warmer and cooler Octobers, and wetter or drier Octobers in recent years.

Milwaukee had an average maximum temperature of 59.4 and an average minimum of 44.8, giving them a monthly average of 52.1, which was 0.7 degree above normal.  On the precipitation side of the house, Milwaukee picked up 2.62 inches, which was 0.13 above normal.   A trace of snowfall was measured, which is 0.1 inch below normal.

Madison had an average maximum temperature of 59.6 and an average minimum of 38.8, giving them a monthly average of 49.2, which was 0.1 degree below normal.  On the precipitation side of the house, Madison picked up 2.20 inches, which was 0.02 above normal.   A trace of snowfall was measured, which is 0.4 inch below normal.
