Loss of Ice Over Lake Michigan

The brisk west winds and milder temperatures have caused a loss of much of the Ice on the west shore of  Lake Michigan bordering Southeast Wisconsin .  

Here is a high resolution MODIS visible image from Sunday afternoon.  Little ice was visible in the Southeast Wisconsin near shore waters.  Some high cirrus clouds are seen.  You can see Ice off the Lower Michigan shore under the cirrus.
