Heavy Rains skirt most of southern Wisconsin

Issued 445 pm CDT Thu July 8 2010

A stalled front across central Wisconsin for several days resulted in a band of 2 to 3 inches of rain from southwest Wisconsin into central and northeast Wisconsin.  The maps below show the 5 day rain totals for the state of Wisconsin from July 4th to July 8th 2010.

Same as first image, except for the 20 counties in southern Wisconsin served by the National Weather Service Office in Milwaukee/Sullivan WI.
