...A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION WILL OVERSPREAD SOUTHERN WISCONSIN THIS
AFTERNOON AND LAST THROUGH THIS EVENING...AS A TROUGH OF LOW
PRESSURE APPROACHES. SNOW...SLEET...AND RAIN IS EXPECTED WITH A
POTENTIAL OF FREEZING RAIN OVER SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN.

THE PRECIPITATION WILL MOVE FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST ACROSS THE
REGION...BEGINNING FROM 1 TO 2 PM NEAR THE ILLINOIS BORDER...TO 2
TO 4 PM FROM MADISON TO MILWAUKEE...AND 5 TO 6 PM AT FOND DU LAC
AND SHEBOYGAN. THE PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AS SNOW AND SLEET IN
SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...AND TRANSITION TO RAIN TONIGHT WITH
SOME POCKETS OF FREEZING RAIN POSSIBLE AS TEMPERATURES WILL BE
NEAR THE FREEZING MARK. THUS MINOR ICE ACCUMULATION AND SLIPPERY
ROADWAYS ARE POSSIBLE IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN.

NO FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED IN SOUTHEAST OR EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN
WHERE TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN ABOVE FREEZING. SNOW...SLEET AND
RAIN WILL TRANSITION TO ALL RAIN EARLY IN THE EVENING. BEFOREHAND...MINOR
SNOW ACCUMULATION WELL UNDER AN INCH IS POSSIBLE WELL AWAY FROM
LAKE MICHIGAN. WITH TEMPERATURES REMAINING ABOVE FREEZING AND ONLY
MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATION...MAINLY WET ROADWAYS ARE EXPECTED.

THANKSGIVING DAY WILL BE DRY WITH BRISK WEST WINDS AND COOL
TEMPERATURES.
