Bitter Wind Chills and Blowing Snow Tonight
Clearing skies and a continued brisk north to northwest wind will create bitterly cold conditions across south central and southeast Wisconsin overnight. Wind chill values will drop to 20 to 25 below zero after midnight away from Lake Michigan, and remain near this level through late Monday morning. In addition, winds gusting to around 40 mph across southeast Wisconsin this evening will continue to generate considerable blowing and drifting snow. Visibility in exposed areas will frequently drop to 1/2 mile or less. Conditions will gradually improve overnight.
