Freezing drizzle across much of South Central Wisconsin and portions of Southeast Wisconsin may cause hazardous driving conditions during this Tuesday morning commute. Areas of freezing drizzle will persist through the early to mid morning hours, then gradually become less widespread as drier air wedges into the region. Light snow with a mix of freezing drizzle will continue across portions of eastern Wisconsin through mid morning.
By late morning, temperatures should increase to around freezing across the area, changing the freezing drizzle to just drizzle and ending the wintry precip threat, except in areas northeast of a line from Port Washington to Fond du Lac where light snow may continue through the afternoon.
Winter weather advisories are in effect through mid morning. See the latest winter weather advisory statement here.
