A low pressure system will move through the Great Lakes region today, spreading snowfall across all of south central and southeast Wisconsin this morning.
Below is the latest short term graphical depiction of current conditions:
The snow will fall during the morning rush hour, likely slowing down travel as roads become hazardous in some areas. Take extra care out there. The snow will diminish rapidly from northwest to southeast this morning...or by around 8 AM around the Wisconsin Dells, 10 AM in the Madison area, and 11 AM in the Milwaukee metro area. Visibilities will generally be around 1 to 2 miles...but down to 1/2 mile for a short time as heavier snow moves through. A total of 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation is expected before it ends.
