Snow Headed For Southern Wisconsin
A fast moving Alberta Clipper low pressure system will track through the western Great Lakes this afternoon and tonight, spreading snow throughout Wisconsin.

The snow will begin across south central and southeast Wisconsin after about 5 PM this afternoon, becoming moderate to heavy at times north and east of a line from Mequon to Berlin. 2 to 3 inches of snow is expected in that area...with parts of Sheboygan county getting up between 3 and 4 inches. Milwaukee County may see 1 to 2 inches...while the Madison area will be limited to less than 1 inch. Snow amounts will continue to taper off to the south and west.

Three to five inches of snow should fall across the better part of the northeast half of Wisconsin. Even higher amounts are expected in parts of the Lake Superior snowbet in far northwest Wisconsin.
