A Snowy Night Ahead

More Snow Tonight

Winter Weather Advisories Are In Effect

Low pressure at the surface will continue to track away from the region tonight. However, a very vigorous disturbance in the upper levels of the atmosphere will track from southern Minnesota to southern Wisconsin by Tuesday morning.  Look for snow to gradually increase in coverage and intensity across southern Wisconsin through the overnight hours.  Although main roads are mostly clear of the ice and snow from yesterday's weather, they will likely become snow covered and slippery again tonight into early Tuesday.

Below is a graphic depicting the snowfall totals expected through 6 AM Tuesday morning for both southern Wisconsin and the entire state.
